This amethyst necklace is made with a special stone I cut from a large piece of amethyst from Thunder Bay in Canada. The stone has an open crystal cavity! This is a sparkly one for sure. Stones like this are really difficult to cut. It's a domed oval with the open crystal cavity centered and to the left. I made the setting from solid silver (.999 fine and .925 sterling). Like all of our jewelry this piece is handmade by me. The pendant measures 1.3 x .75 in inches. The pictured chain is 20 inches in length. Love the pendant but don't need a chain. Choose the Pendant NO Chain Option.

Our stones are mirror polished and so there will be reflections in the pictures. We take pictures in direct bright light that simulates what your stone will look like in direct sunlight. Stones look very different in low or artificial light. If it's dark when you receive them you can use the flashlight feature on your smart phone to see what they will look like in daylight. If you are new to semi precious stones please understand that these stones are natural and were found or dug from the earth. These are not faceted altered or manmade stones you see in stores. Natural stones (especially agates) most often have features that would be considered flaws in a faceted stone or manufactured stone. Natural stones can have internal fractures, natural holes or geode areas. If there are features we as professional lapidary artists feel may detract from a stone we do our best to describe them in the listing description and show them in the pictures.We charge based on size and quality of the stone as well as market factors. We don’t dabble in the art of stone cutting. We do not accept offers of less than the listed price. Brian is a full time lapidary artist so if you buy from us you are buying a high quality stone made by an experienced professional artist. Shipping: The free shipping for our shop is USPS Ground Advantage. The upgraded shipping is USPS Priority Mail. The charge for upgrading shipping covers the increased shipping cost to send priority mail. Keep in mind we have no control over USPS shipping times or errors. Both options include up to $100 in insurance. Both shipping choices include tracking. USPS tracking includes a GPS signature when the package is scanned delivered. You are responsible for ensuring the safety of your packages once they are scanned delivered. Happy Agate Studio will not issue refunds for packages reported not received that were scanned delivered.

Returns: Message us to initiate a return. We accept returns within 14 calendar days of your package being scanned delivered. Day one is the day following it's scanned delivery date. Buyer pays for return shipping. Buyer is responsible for any damage to the item during it's return so we recommend using a shipping method that includes insurance and packaging it securely similar to as we did upon sending it. Returned items must be in undamaged, unused, unworn, unaltered condition. Otherwise you are responsible for any loss in value. Returns must be sent with tracking. Buyer must message us the tracking number and tracking must show carrier receipt of the package by day 14 of our return window. Upon receipt of your return we will refund you according to Etsy's guidelines.

Packaging: We package our jewelry securely so it will arrive safe. Jewelry is shipped in a jewelry box. Cabochons are shipped primarily in small containers rather than jewelry boxes. If you are buying multiple pieces for gifts and need boxes for each item please mark the order as a gift or message us with what you prefer. Otherwise we will ship multiple items in a single jewelry box.
