Freshly Made Bars
——————
NEW-I made these Black African Soap Bars as close to the original except I don’t bake them in the sun! With ROASTED PLAINTAIN SKINS AND LEAVES , COCAO PODS ROASTED, and African Shea Butter and Cocoa butter. Great for all skin types and as a SHAMPOO BAR.
—————-
Black African Soap is generally produced in Ghana , Africa. It is made by other tribes as well and can vary by what ingredients are available. Black Soap in Ghana, Africa, is made from the ash of plants and barks of plantains, cocoa pods, palm tree leaves and shea trees. The leaves and bark are dried in the sun and are then kettle roasted. Palm oil, coconut oil, shea butter and cocoa pod powder are added. This soap /shampoo has many purposes.

HAIR AND SCALP:
Black soap is used to treat scalp irritations and dandruff. Many use black soap as a daily shampoo because it is so gentle.
FACE AND BODY Soap
Black soap is a natural skin cleanser and it used to clean and moisturize the face and entire body. It helps keep skin healthy and fresh looking. NO FRAGRANCE ADDED. The beautiful, delicate scent is all natural, a light combination of cocao and plantain( Chocolate and Banana to be precise)

MAKEUP REMOVAL and Aging Skin
"Black soap is good for removing makeup. It is believed to prevent facial lines and wrinkles."

COCAO , PLANTAINS & UNREFINED SHEA BUTTER-
SOoooo you say "Sheri, you live in Michigan?" Yep, that's right. So I shall say this soap is a very close second to the one produced in Ghana. It has all the same ingredients, just processed a little different because of our modern technology. ie: I don't bake my soap in the hot sun, I have modern appliances. I didn't pick plantain, or harvest Shea Butter or Cocao pods.( see pictures for the part of my process) .
I used PLANTAIN skin that I dried in the oven and ground to a fine powder. I bought Cocao Pods, Organic: DESCRIBED-
"nature’s chocolate chips. Cacao nibs are made from pure cacao beans that come straight out of the tropical cacao fruit. Cacao was a culinary treasure to Mesoamericans for thousands of years and touted as the "Food of the Gods" for its superior nutritional profile and exceptional flavor.
Cacao nibs provide pure chocolate flavor and they’re a rich source of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals
I also used ORGANIC, UNREFINED SHEA BUTTER- Another product of Africa and not Michigan. I am fortunate to know a gal that sells this butter and it is amazing.
Enough said...:) Read about it yourself sometime. I've gotten great reviews and love using it more than any soap or shampoo I've ever had or made. It is a bit of work but I want to keep the price affordable for everyone. Try a bar today.

In stock with a limited supply. Fast Shipping, too!

You will receive your choice of a 3.5-4 oz chunk (second photo)
or 5-6 oz .( first photo)
Freshly Made Bars

Keep this soft Ghana African Inspired soap/shampoo away from direct streams of water so it lasts longer. All true African black soap is soft. You will love it!
