Handmade knife with burl wood handle and sheath

This is a handmade knife created from 1084 carbon steel and some beautiful burl wood for the handle.

The blade was hand ground and heat treated/tempered for durability and edge retention. It was then hand sanded to give it a consistent satin finish. It has a 3" blade and 6.5" overall length.

The handle consists of Darkeye Corrugata burl wood with black G10 liners between the wood and steel. It is secured with 4 brass pins. The wood is polished to a shine, the pictures don't do this one justice.

Lastly, I made a custom kydex sheath that holds the knife securely at your side.

Thanks for looking.

Obvious craftsmanship and attention to detail. You can tell it was a joy to make it because of the attention he gave it.
