Where do I find the items I use to make my jewelry?

I love to go to flea markets, antique shops and estate sales. Some I find on Ebay or other online sources. I am always on the lookout for that one item that catches my eye and just can't resist getting.

How long have you been making Jewelry?

I was having a yard sale about 9 years ago and my daughter-in-law was selling a box of different kinds of beads. They caught my eye, so I bought it from her. That started me down a new creative path. My education was in Home Economics and Art in college and then Art School in Boston. Over the years, as my family and I have traveled the world on my husband's Military assignments, I have had the opportunity to make cloths for customers, teach sewing and Macramé, quilt, and paint signs and murals. While I love doing all of these things, I have been solely focused on creating beautiful pieces of jewelry for the past 9 years.

Do you have a local store?

I plan on converting my two car garage into a studio in the near future. I also sell in two other local boutiques and shops around the state. One in Conway at the Red Barn and one in Scott Shoppes in Scott. There is more info on locations on my Facebook page. WWW.Facebook.com/Spiritedrecreations

This beautiful Crystal and heart belt buckle necklace is made from several Vintage Brighton belts and a Vintage Brighton Eyeglass chain. This one of a kind necklace is full of hearts and Swarovski crystals that make it sparkle. The hanging heart came from a vintage Brighton eyeglass chain and has a lovely pearl in the center with a small clear crystal hanging from the bottom. The 20 " chain is Vintage Brighton rolo chain with two vintage ball connectors added at the top of the buckle. It closes with a lobster clasp. The Buckle measures 1 7/8" x 2 1/8" What better way to express your heart than to give someone a necklace full of hearts.
