HALF OFF! This is the perfect vintage wedding dress for colder weather - a 1930s/1940s long sleeved, velour gown with long, streaming train, and a fitted bodice. Studded with gorgeously tailored details, the neckline is high and round, the front of bodice has two gentle pleats running vertically on either side of chest that work like princess seams. Waistline is nipped with an upward V inset below which two panels of cloth cascade symmetrically down to the hips and wrap around to the rear to become the peplum-train.Underneath the panels is the floor length, flared skirt. Shoulders are lightly padded.

Closure is at back with a dramatic vertical line of numerous snaps disguised as matching velour buttons - remarkably none are missing! The long sleeves are fitted and close at cuff with 5 hidden snap closures. Dress is fully lined in rayon.

This elegant gown is a classic and understated piece - the perfect foil to a dramatic headpiece or veil.

brand: no label
material: velour
size on tag: none

Condition: As is. Though this dress has been dry cleaned, I have been afraid to wash the delicate fabric and try to brighten up the color and remove some spots. The main stain is at left breastbone - a lucky place as its perfect for your corsage, brooch, or added embroidery. There are some scattered, light colored stains on rear of skirt and on the train that look like they can be treated out and noticeable only when fabric is pulled out flat. Small brown spots appear on outside of right sleeve and along the closure at back. There are also small patches of wear in the fabric. This makes the dress sound unwearable which is truly not the case. Priced accordingly. *Detailed pics available upon request.

**International shipping is available. Please convo me for specific price quote based on your location so that I can save you $ if possible. Price in listing is an estimate.
