For uses both serious and frivolous: 54 illustrated playing cards, each imbued with the power to protect you from some common calamity.* **

Printed in the USA with high environmental and quality standards, Portable Fortitude has infinite uses, including: cartomancy (reading tarot with playing cards), spokecards for your bicycle, talismans on your altar, or standard card games. Educators use them in classrooms as writing and drawing prompts, writers use them to free associate, and many buy one deck to keep and another to split up and give away, card by card. Keep a card in your wallet for special protection (I always carry Protection from Bicycle Mishap), slip one in a friend's pocket, or string them all over your doorway to keep out all the bad mojo.

See all 54 images here: http://corinadross.com/2014/01/04/portable-fortitude/

Cards are coated to be fully playable, but use slightly thinner paper than standard poker decks.

*(except the court cards, who are emblematic of certain virtues)
**(effectiveness of cards' protective abilities varies)

Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
I accept all kinds of payment, but if you're mailing a check or money order, I will wait until that has cleared before mailing your purchase. I ask direct checkout buyers to make a minimum purchase of $5 because of the associated fees.

Returns & exchanges

I will fully refund or exchange any item that you are not satisfied with, for whatever reason, to the best of my ability. I can't be responsible for mail that is lost or damaged by the post office after it leaves my hands, but I try to work something out with the customer when this happens (it happens rarely, but it does happen).

Shipping policies

I ship once or twice a week, depending on the season and the amount of orders I have. If you need rush shipping, please let me know *before* you order!

All packages ship standard USPS (unless otherwise noted) with Delivery Confirmation. All paper goods are shipped with protective cardboard inserts unless otherwise specified. If you'd like insurance, please contact me before you order and I'll set up a special order for you.

I ship to all countries, please let me know if you're an international customer and have difficulty making a purchase.

Additional policies

Please contact me *before* purchase if you'd like a handwritten message to a friend, gift wrap, or expedited shipping. I can whip up a custom order for you that includes an extra $2 for fancying up your order!

I do sell wholesale to retailers across the US and abroad! Contact me at corinadrossartwork@gmail.com for details.
Because of a demanding schedule, I'm usually not available for custom art. If this changes, I'll update this FAQ!
Yes! Just send me a photo of the result for me to proudly post!
I'll often approve uses of my art for non-profit ventures or social activism fundraising, as long as I'm credited. No one has permission to use my art for anything they'll be making money off of.
Sorry, but no. I have my patches made in bulk and the screen is only one size. What you see here is what I have available.
Possibly. If enough people ask me for a certain image in a new format (like the Prince poster as a t-shirt), I'll consider making it. But it does depend on a lot of other factors (like right now I don't have the space to store t-shirts).
