Fall is in the air, and the Silver Maples are turning...silver?
This beautiful pendant is molded from a real Silver Maple Leaf gathered from my own back yard. Upon close inspection the detail picked up from the original leaf is amazing! The back of the pendant had been given a hint of the leaf veins, and is are with my signature stamp.
The whole leaf is polished to a silky smooth, and near mirror bright finish. The surface catches flashes of light and color as it moves, making this pendant very eye catching when worn.
The leaf is slightly cupped, the tips curling gently upward, as it might if caught in a light autumn breeze.
Hung on a sterling silver Spiga chain. If you like the look of snake chains, but can't stand the hair pulling, this chain is perfect! It gives the appearance of liquid silver but without the pinches and kinks that can mar the look, and the best part is that this chain won't pull out the little hairs on your neck!
Size: 1 5/8 inches top of bail to bottom of leaf. (4.25cm)

This is art. First, the craftsmanship and quality are amazing. But, second, and more importantly to me, the integration of natural environment with modern design is perfect for my style. I felt like this piece had been designed for me. And, third, when I wore it for the first time today, I occasionally caught a glimpse of the pendant, then the Elvis version of Poke Salad Annie started playing in my head (in the most fun way). Oh, and fast shipping and remarkable presentation (the boxing is perfect for a gift).
