Description

Vintage A.B. Dick Portable Mimeoscope Model PM-2.
1940s electric light table that was used with stencils.

This vintage piece is in working condition with a working light bulb. Hang it up for a one-of-a-kind lighted message board or just as fabulous industrial wall art. Great gift for a graphic artist!

A.B. Dick company was founded in 1884 and is still in existence and going strong in the printing and graphic arts industries.

Approx 21" x 13 1/2" overall, and weighs 6 lbs.
Just under 1 3/4" high and sits on worn rubber feet. There are two coated metal feet underneath that rotate outwards to lift the mimeoscope.
The black frame is plastic, possibly Bakelite.
The white plexiglass-type surface measures 15 1/2" x 9 1/2". The small, upper right bracket to hold it in place is missing. The wire handle along the top edge has rusted in place.

Offered as found. I have no other parts or pieces. Please review pics for condition. There is some rusting on the the metal parts. I have not tried to remove and clean them.

DAMAGES DURING SHIPPING
All items are carefully packaged for shipping and are insured through the USPS. If a package and its contents are damaged during shipping, the buyer is responsible for contacting me via Etsy within 24 hours of receiving the package. When filing a claim with USPS, the damaged article, container, packaging, and any other items received must be presented to the Postal Service for inspection. I require digital photographs of both the damaged item and all shipping materials and packaging to support the buyer’s damage claim. The photographs must be sent to me via Etsy, and once received, I will contact the buyer regarding any possible refunds. Refunds, if approved, are processed through Etsy Direct Checkout or PayPal, whichever method the buyer used for the original transaction.

Shipping policies

Orders ship within 1-3 business days of receiving payment.

Free shipping offers apply only to destinations within the United States.

If you are outside of the US, contact me for a shipping price and I will add it to the listing.

I always combine shipping to save you money when possible. I use USPS for most shipping and will opt for Flat Rate or Priority Mail whenever possible for the best price and shipping speed.

If you need your item rushed, I might be able to do that -- just ask if it's possible prior to making your purchase.

Any overages in shipping exceeding a dollar or two will be refunded to you on the day that I ship. All orders will be shipped to your confirmed address.

I try to re-use shipping boxes and packing materials whenever possible. If you would prefer that I use only new materials for your package, please contact me in advance of purchase. Thanks!
