This original artwork depicts the lovely oleander blooms and one of the odd creatures that lives on her poisonous leaves and flowers; the polka dot wasp moth...

The oleander polka-dot wasp moth is indeed a strange and beautiful creature.

She masks herself as a wasp and not only sustains herself but thrives on a plant that poisons others, the oleander. Most moths are nocturnal, but this little beauty is diurnal, meaning she flies during the sunny hours. She is a symbol for looking beyond. There is ALWAYS more than meets the eye. A creature of necessity, cunning, and transformative beauty.
What surrounds you which you think is harmful could actually be a boon in disguise.
Take what you are given and make it your own. Transform fear into something beautiful and take your power back.
Fly in the light.

The colorful watercolor on yupo paper comes professionally framed behind glass with an archival, bright white mat.
It is wired and ready to hang on your wall. The outer frame measures 10”x12”.
Your new artwork will ship via priority USPS and comes with a certificate of provenance, so please make sure your Etsy name and shipping address are up to date.
