Description

on a summer trip to the Adirondack mountains in northern New York, between Paul Smiths and Lake Saranac, our neighbors on the Upper St. Regis lake were apparently really into Japanese architecture - as this beautiful lake home demonstrates. I learned from some research that they're part of the "old money" of this region, and they were reminded of Mt. Fuji by a nearby mountain after a trip to Japan. Whether you know it's in NY or you like the harmonious style of these buildings in nature as much as me, you can appreciate this scene.

Painted in gouache and watercolor on cold press paper. This is an original painting and will not be reproduced for prints or anything else!
Signed on the back and on the mat.

This painting comes matted, ready to fit in an 11x14" sized frame.
if you want, I can also find a frame for it and ship the piece to you ready to hang! Just add a few extra days to the delivery time and select the "Framed" option at checkout.

Paper size 8x10.5" (20 cm x 26.67cm)
image size 6.5x9" (16.5 cm x 23cm)
outer edge of mat 11x14" (28cm x 35.5cm)

Shipping policies

Shipped first class with USPS within three business days!

I prefer to use recycled packaging when I mail orders. Better for you (cheaper shipping & handling) and better for the earth!
I may roll your prints if I deem it substantially more economical or safer (so they don't get damaged in the post). Just GENTLY roll them the other direction when you receive and they should bounce back. If they still curl, place them under a heavy book for a while.

Additional policies

If you need an item shipped quickly, send me a message as soon as you can and I'll do my best to fulfill your needs.
All artwork comes from pet, smoke, and fragrance-free spaces.
