Sixteen year old artist, Josh "Yosh" Sablan has created a series of note cards inspired by South Africa's Big Five. The 4 x 6" note cards are being sold in packs of 10 (featuring two of each animal). Josh created the note card art by completing 5 - 8 x 10 scratchboards, a form of direct engraving where the artist scratches off dark ink to reveal a white layer beneath.

Josh is selling the cards to raise funds for a service trip to South Africa with the Simunye Project US. During the 18-day trip, Josh, other students and adult leaders will work to improve the lives of under privileged communities in South Africa by creating sustainable and lasting change focused on on three main areas of support: education, health and new and renovation building.

Working with the Simunye Project US will fulfill two goals for Josh: sharing his love of building and art with others, and traveling to South Africa (something he's wanted to do since he was 6!).

Thank you in advance for your support of the Simunye Project and Josh.
