"The air is perfectly quiescent and all is stillness, as if Nature, after her exertions during the Summer, were now at rest." ~John Bradbury

Indian Summer is a calming period of warm weather during Autumn with clear turquoise skies playing off the golden ochres and rusts of fallen leaves. This palette of warm and cool colors is the inspiration behind Indian Summer. I knit the scarf in a chunky lambswool and acrylic blend yarn in a deep gold and wove ribbons down the length, dyed in copper, rust and turquoise. The abundance of fringe is made up of 9 differently textured yarns and ribbons full of spicy shades of chili, paprika, saffron, and mustard, mixed with vivid turquoise blue.

((Please do not purchase unless you are kkhelder, thank you!))

measurements, unstretched~
scarf: 60 x 4.5" (152 x 11.5cm)
fringe: 9" (23cm), each edge
