Framed Record Album w/Vinyl, QUIET RIOT Metal Health, 1983 w/Enhanced Cover Art, Preserve, Display, Play Records,Steampunk Meets Heavy Metal

METAL HEALTH was the first American heavy metal debut album to reach #1, and some claim they were also the 1st "hair metal band," paving the way for a new commercial respect for metal. Founded by guitarist Randy Rhoads and bassist Kelly Garni, QUIET RIOT toured with Black Sabbath in 1983 and the Metal Health album eventually sold over 6 million copies in the U.S.

Attention was paid to the band’s penchant for stripes and animal print, along with metal cogs, each one with its own design; there's an iron cross, and a heavy handmade gnarly looking metal ring. The 45 "Cum on Feel the Noise" is attached to the back, not in good enough shape to use, but too good to trash it, so it's a freebie on the back. The LP is in excellent condition & can be removed for play.

The original band name of Mach 1 was first changed to Little Women; the final evolution was inspired by a conversation with Rick Parfitt of the British band Status Quo, in which he said he'd like to name a band "Quite Right", but his thick English accent made it sound like he was saying "Quiet Riot".
