Description

A natural fiber sock made from our very own home grown suri alpaca 62% along with 17% natural white merino, and 21% nylon/spandex. I sorted the suri alpaca fiber by hand removing short bits and debris. After sorted I sent the fiber to USA mill to be made into the sock yarn. Then once yarn was finished, then the yarn is sent onto the knitter to knit the socks to my specifications on a special sock knitting machine. The natural fibers are warming to the feet without added bulk. They are comfortable socks with non binding at legs yet enough spandex to help them stay put. Comfortable enough to wear year round. Just enough spandex to fit your foot like a glove.

Boot sock fitting high over the calf. Made of all natural colored USA alpaca and merino fibers. The sock is a grey/brown color.

I just love how these socks feel on my foot and that they are made from natural colored fibers that I raised here on the farm. I wear a size 8 shoe and I prefer small as it fits snug, but medium will work with a little extra wiggle room.

Alpaca is known for being an incredibly warm fiber. These socks feel fantastic on the feet and wear very well and should last you years.

small fits women 6-8.5
medium fits women 9 and up
medium fits men 7-10

Hand wash cold, gentle detergent and lay flat to dry or line dry, to preserve them longer but they will withstand a gentle wash and dry if you choose. Makes them fuzzier when machine washed on gentle or delicate cycle and may shrink some. Be sure to not use the dryer. I personally wash them in the hand wash cycle of my machine and then line dry.

Really fantastic socks. Plenty comfortable, warm and soft, and still not too thick to be work as dress socks. I love that the color of the alpaca fiber is a natural black. I'm particular about socks, and these may be my new favorites.
