This hand-thrown Jar is intricately carved, lightweight and durable for everyday use. The elaborate bottom of this unique piece has been hand sanded to give it a smoother, polished feel. The details were created by trimming the jar thin in some areas, and thicker in others to enable deeper cuts and designs. This jar is perfect for storing dry goods like sugar and flour as well as candy!

This Jar was fired in a kiln with the oxygen absent to create a darker surface color and a natural feel. The jar was fired to about 2,230 degrees Fahrenheit which helps vitrify the piece and guarantees no leaks/ easy cleaning.

This jar holds about 14 fl. oz
