Small Georges Briard Glass Tray With Upturned Corners - 'Persian Garden' Pattern in Burnished Gold - Dot and Dot Rim Pattern

This is a great piece of glassware designed by Georges Briard in the 1960s.

"Georges Briard, who died in 2005, was a Russian artist and designer whose real name was Jascha Brojdo. He worked with designer Max Wille in New York in the 1940s and 50s. He created the name Georges Briard and used it to sign his commercial work, as he was also an artist and signed his original work 'Jascha Brojdo'. His combination geometric and organic designs include strong outlines and repeating motifs. They often feature birds, fruit, regal symbols and abstract designs."

This plate is from the 'Persian Garden' pattern. The detailing is awesome with a burnished gold color and a peppled glass bottom. The tray has cut out corners and all sides are turned up making it 1¼" deep (brighter areas on each end are the light reflected from turning up the ends). Its approximately 6¼" wide and 11¼" long. Its ready to add to any collection.

I'm happy to ship outside the United States; please convo me for a shipping cost.
