Written by Matthew W. Stirling ; with contributions by Hiram Bingham ; illustrated with full-color reproductions of 149 paintings by W. Langdon Kihn and H. M. Herget ; foreword by John Oliver La Gorce.

"Matthew Williams Stirling was an American ethnologist, archaeologist and later an administrator at several scientific institutions in the field. He is best known for his discoveries relating to the Olmec civilization. "

Dust Jacket has some tears and discoloration as well as scotch tape. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, and no underlining/highlighting of text or writing in the margins.

Hard cover is in excellent condition.
