An antique wedding photograph of a bride and bridesmaids in wonderful post- Edwardian bridal fashion. This is what was called a "real photo postcard" taken sometime between 1904 and 1918. A "Real Photo Postcard" is a true silver print photograph with postcard markings on the back which made it suitable for mailing. This was a common practice in teh first few years of the 20th century. Real photo postcards are highly collected. This is NOT a modern reproduction.

The back is divided with the AZO stamp box with the AAZO pattern which dates it as Circa 1904 - 1918.

Such beautiful women and amazing examples of bridal couture and vintage wedding culture!

This photo has "silvered" giving it an extra lovely and fragile feeling (In very old photos, the silver sometimes separates from dark areas and the photo attains a slightly metallic quality).

The photograph is clean and flat and has some very light surface wear

The reverse postcard side is highly age-darkened, but is otherwise unmarked and had not been posted.

Even when highly enlarged, this postcard has excellent clarity!
