Rosa canina,

Rose Hips are the Fruit of the Rose Plant. Used to make Rose Hip Tea and Rose Hip Extracts such as Organic Rose Hip Seed Oil and salves. Dried Rose Hips can also be ground into Rose Hip Powder to make soaps, lotions, shampoo, as well as many other cosmetic applications.

The Plant Family Rosaceae includes all Wild and Cultivated Roses. With so many beautiful varieties, "The Rose" is now nothing less than a legend in the Plant Kingdom, full of Vitamin C and phytonutrients!!

Besides the wonderful herbal uses of Rose hip, Wild Rose hips Fruit is also a fantastic culinary ingredient! It is used to make Rose Hip jam or Rose Hip jelly, syrups, marmalade, pies, bread, wine, and Rose Hip Soup. Sweden is famous for it's version of the soup called, " nyponsoppa " .
