Description

This Edwardian shirtwaist has so many lovely details. The chocolatey flannel is offset by an olive green cotton trim, double rows of fabric covered buttons, comes with a tie at the waist, and features snaps along the left front bodice so its easy to put on as this is a delicate beauty. Probably worn by a woman who lived on a farm at the turn of the century when corsets were finally being laid to rest. We can imagine she was a suffragette who enjoyed a strong whiskey too, why not! As pictured there are several holes throughout, the left sleeve is very tattered at the opening, but the closures are all in tact and this is still a gently wearable piece with a lot of history in its stitches. Fits an XS/S, mannequin is a size 4.
