I have had this purse in my collection for years and recently cleaned out the closet and found it again. So much fun to carry and I get great compliments. It is such a fantastic handbag...great for evening use during the upcoming holiday season.

This is a fabulous vintage Art Deco Style Box Purse from the 1940's. It is completely handbeaded in a bronze colored bead called Carnival Glass Beads. There does not appear to be any beads missing. The purse is a box shape with a metal frame in the center with a half moon clasp.

The purse is rectangular shaped with three rows of larger beads outlining the handbag. The interior features a tag which reads: "M.E. Products It Speaks for Itself". It is from about the 1940s era.

The interior is composed of satin fabric with three compartments. There is some normal wear on the interiors The center compartment has a zipper closing and one side is large enough to fit you cell phone and the other side a tube of lipstick. Both side compartments have a gold leather or leather looking tiny cord trim.

The purse measures 5 1/2" across, 7" tall and 3 1/2" in width. The single handle which can be doubled measures 14" in length.

The purse is in excellent condition with no obvious flaws. There is some discoloration on the metal frame. It has been lightly used, but by a very careful owner.

I have seen this purse in vintage stores and it retailed for over $400.00...great buy!!!
