Description

Bright up your holidays with with classic felted wool Christmas stocking. This colorway is a simple red and white design with a Scandinavian feel. The embroidery pattern is based on an 1820s Regency dress at the Met Museum, so this is truly a timeless holiday design.

This stocking is made beautiful felted wool fabric, rather than non woven wool felt, so you can see the texture of the fabric in the finished piece. The front is embroidered with a branch of holly and berries in wool thread and trimmed with cream colored wool and a matching hanging loop. The cream wool trim and the top of the stocking have been finished with a blanket stitch in cream wool thread.

The back is left plain. The inside has been finished with fusible interfacing to protect the back of the embroidery.

This stocking measures about 15" tall and 10" wide across the toe, 7.5" wide at the top.

I accept payments by PayPal and credit card payments through Etsy.

Custom orders require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total price before work can begin. The remaining 50% plus shipping and fees must be paid before the item will be shipped to you.

If you have paid the full amount for a custom order up front and later choose to cancel the order, you will receive no more than a 50% refund. The remaining refund will be prorated based on how close to completion the item was when the order was cancelled.

Your order will be cancelled if payment is not received and you have not contacted us to make special arrangements.

Returns & exchanges

I stand behind the quality of my products and hope you will be pleased with any items you purchase from me. In the event that you are not completely satisfied, please refer to the policies below.

There are no refunds or exchanges on custom orders or digital downloads. If you experience a problem with your order, please contact me and I will make every effort to resolve any issues to your satisfaction.

Ready-to-wear items and supplies may be returned for exchange or a refund of the full price of the merchandise, less a 10% restocking fee. Returns and exchanges are accepted within ten (10) days of shipment and must be pre-approved by phone or email. The customer is responsible for shipping on all returns and exchanges. Custom items or items showing signs of wear will not be accepted for return and will be sent back to the customer at their expense.

Shipping policies

All items shipped within the US are shipped with Delivery Confirmation. I will ship to the address provided via PayPal or Etsy. If your desired shipping address is different, please let me know in the “message to seller” note during checkout.

Custom items will be shipped within 4-6 weeks of placing your order, unless otherwise specified in the listing or arranged on a case-by-case basis.

All other items will be shipped within 5 business days of placing an order.

If you would like me to ship an item internationally, please message me to discuss options and fees.

I am happy to work with you should you need the items sooner than my usual shipping schedule. Please contact me to make arrangements for special shipping requests.
