Light and airy, ethereal, romantic, whimsical...

Oh, I could just go on and on about how lovely this vintage linen tunic is! The cream-colored linen is double-layered, so while there is a sheer quality to it, your intimates will be masked from view. The bodice is tailored so wonderfully, giving form-flattering structure to an organic, flowing fabric.

And how can we not talk about that embroidery? When I first saw it, I gasped - you just don't see things made with this level of detail or quality or care anymore! Of course, the rich, vibrant cobalt blue creates an incredible contrast against the cream linen, and you can really appreciate the intricate details because of it.

MEASUREMENTS (taken flat and doubled where appropriate)

BUST: 36 inches max
EMPIRE WAIST: 32 inches
WAIST: 27 inches
SHOULDER TO SHOULDER: 15 inches
SLEEVE LENGTH: 23 inches
LENGTH (measured top of neck collar to hem): 32.5 inches

TAG: Jilly Gilly 12 (vintage sizing - refer to measurements for modern fit and size)

CONDITION: Very good - a couple of light water stains, shown in photos 8 & 9. Embroidery is beautifully in tact. Might be missing a button in the front - there doesn't appear to be a hole in the fabric indicating that there was something sewn there, so it may be a unique spacing of the buttons on the garment by its original manufacturer.
