This is a 8" x 10" Giclée high-resolution print on Roland paper. Giclée is an Innovative scanning and printing process producing virtually an identical reproduction of the original 16" x 20" oil painting. All of my paintings have been copyrighted and scanned by Coupralux of Dallas, Texas. This print is museum quality and is estimated to last 75 years or more. For a more detailed explanation of this process visit www.artevolution.com/what-is-a-giclee.

I am aware that blue jays are not a friendly bird, but they are very beautiful. In preparation for 'Blue Jays in the Forest',  I thought about where they might live. I like the fact that it seems as if the fragile smaller bird in the background is being protected by the mother, on the lookout for harm. In the foreground, she is cautiously aware of all surroundings and her offspring.

The price includes taxes, shipping, handling, and insurance.
