This is a beautiful genuine 100% Leather travel or everyday backpack with a nylon lining inside of it. The color is called saddle and for the most part the backpack is free from anything other than the patterns in the natural leather. It was very gently used and has a clean fresh inside and out (I am a non smoker so no smells either).
When I purchased it , I had plans for everyday use but only used it once because it was too big for me.The measurements for the bag are 15 x 16 x 5.5 inches, with secure metal snap closures and weighs close to 2.8 pounds . The bag is gorgeous but I would never be able to fill it , I don't carry that much stuff but it would be great for a student, new mom or a commuter that needs to carry a bunch of stuff. It has two large front snap pockets , a small snap pocket on the side for a cell phone or something small. Inside it has two zippered pockets, one on the inside flap and the other on the inside back of the bag. This is a bag that will last forever and turn darker from use (this is natural as leather ages). You can spray it with a leather protector to prevent stains or spots from spills (I've done it already but it can be reapplied at anytime).
Full grain genuine leather, made of the cowhide and is big, it's big enough to actually fit most personal tablets . Be aware that it's not padded inside just lined with the nylon.
Leather improves with age as it absorbs the oils from your hands and assumes a classic, worn look, it has beautiful functional high quality hardware and they're secure when closed.
