This vintage 1930's Mexican sterling silver piece is traditional tulip design. The necklace is 18 1/2 inches long & the earrings are 5/8 of an inch in size. This a stunning early Mexican necklace and earrings set with a tulip design, circa 1930's-1940's.

This set is hand-wrought in Mexico, and the tulips are darkly oxidized in the recesses. There are a total of twenty four tulips in the necklace, which has a wearable length of 17". Closure is a tight and secure tongue in box. This is a beautiful, very fluid and flexible piece, and it's beautifully crafted.

The necklace is hallmarked with "Mexico Silver, Sterling Silver 925", and the earrings are not marked. It was not uncommon in older Mexican silverwork for matching pieces to only have marks on one piece of the set. These are quite clearly a set. Total weight is 30.5 grams.

This is a Pedro Castillo design.

In excellent condition!
