I was worried about these being brass but the gold-plating is high quality and hasn't even begun tarnishing. They're a little tight when first applying them, but they fit perfectly after using them and I like the security of a tight backing to keep my earrings in. Both the small and large sizes fit the posts from this store, but I prefer the larger backings since their weight helps balance some of my heavier earring posts. Thanks!!

i think i took a size too small for some of my earrings but that's on me, i find some earrings that work with it so it's good :)
