Here is a new edition of my Jolly Good Blanket, made of granny squares, that I really learned how to make from my Grandmother.

I have used 8 color shades of Cornish wool from UK (www.cornishorganicwool.co.uk). The yarn is 100% wool, collected from local farmers, all of whom are accredited by UK's Soil Association with respect to organic farming and animal welfare. The whole process of farming, spinning and dyeing the wool is certified by the Soil Association organic standard.

As I wanted a wider range of color shades, I have in addition hand dyed some of the same yarn with German made Oeko-Norm dyes that conform to the Global Organic Textile Standard. This is how I achieved more than 15 color shades.

And then I crocheted away to create this cheerful baby blanket.

Size: 35.5 x 35.5 inch / 90 x 90 cm. Weight: 570g

Washing: The blanket has been washed after crafting with eco-friendly wool soap and conditioned with eco-friendly baby hair conditioner on a wool program in the washing machine. I, however, cannot guarantee the results your machine may give. If you are nervous, I would advise you to handwash the blanket. Hair conditioner is added to the rinse to make the blanket softer. In all cases, do not wring and do lay flat to dry.

When you buy this blanket, I'll throw in the FREE DUCKLING knitted from the same yarn and filled with the leftovers when I cleaned up the loose ends at the end of the project.

Created in a smoke free and pet free environment.
