I am very excited to share my knowledge on creating your very own wool needle felted mouse through my PDF mouse class. This listing is for my PDF WOOL NEEDLE FELTED MOUSE CLASS © 2009.
I would appreciate any student that creates and sells a similar mouse from this class to add to their listing or hang tag that the pattern for the mouse was created by Barby Anderson. Thanks so much!
This class or listing does not include the small amount of supplies you will need for the class. When you purchase this online class there is nothing mailed to your physical address as the class is sent to your email address.
I will send the four part PDF mouse class to your email address in PDF files. In receiving my class there are four PFD files to open starting with Lesson #1 and ending in Lesson #4. I have many photos for you to follow included in each lesson along with my easy-to-read instructions. You may print one copy of each lesson for your records if you'd like and it is not to be shared with any other person. My mouse class is copyrighted 2009.
IMPORTANT! Please turn off your spam filters when purchasing this class so you may receive the class through email.
In this class you will be creating a 2" wool needle felted mouse in a sitting position. For those of you who are not familiar with PDF classes it is a really fun way to learn new and exciting techniques for needle felting in the comfort of your own home!
My classes are in a VERY readable text from my WORD document and then the lessons are sent in PDF files to your computer email address. All you do is double click on the PDF file that is sent to your email address for each of the four lessons. I am here to help you through your lessons....all you need to do is email!
This will be a four-lesson class as shown below:
Lesson #1- Needle felting the torso, head and creating the felt feet
Lesson #2- Creating the face and ears, applying the fine outer fibers to the head and torso
Lesson #3- Creating the wire armatures for the legs and wrapping them in core wool and fine outer fibers
Lesson #4- Attaching the legs to the body, adding the outer layer of fine fibers to the body and creating the tail
A supply list will be included in your first lesson.
The mouse you will be creating has black glass bead eyes, a pink nose and mouth, pinkish flesh ears and feet made from wool felt. The mouse is made from wooland the wire tail is wrapped in wool also. The charming mouse is solid wool to the core and has wire armatures inside the legs for posing. The chubby legs on the mouse are in a permanent sitting position. Everyone needle felts a little differently and so each creation by each student will vary.
For those who have not needle felted this is a process of poking fluffy wool with a barbed needle hundreds of times to sculpt a shape. Needle felting is basically sculpting and painting with wool! The wool mouse you will be creating is not intended for children or pets.
