Description

This listing is for an embroidery pattern delivered to you as an electroic file. This design is just cute! Do you just love giraffes and need one in your life? Or maybe this sweetie is the perfect addition for a nursery wall? It really doesn't matter because giraffes are amazing and why not embroider one yourself, right?

The stitches used in this design are easy to moderate. The florals are easy but the giraffe itself has a little added complexity with the "thread painting" technique using long and short stitch. There is no video for this pattern but you may find it useful to check out some of my other thread painting videos on Youtube, like this one or this one if the technique is new to you.

To complete this project you will need:
- 12 skiens of DMC embroidery floss (listed in the PDF)
- Cotton fabric
- One 5 inch wooden hoop (or resize the pattern for a different hoop)
- Embroidery needles
- Scissors

The directions (two PDF files) will be available to you for download after your purchase.
The simple four page pattern includes:
- Stitch and Color keys for the giraffe and florals
- A complete shopping list
- Suggested DMC embroidery floss colors
- Full color close up photo of stitched pattern
- PDF design sized for a 5 inch hoop

The five page beginner guide includes:
- A supplies list with suggested products (hoops, needles, fabric, etc) based off of my experience
- Helpful tips and tricks for transferring design, getting started, and finishing your project
- Diagrams of stitches

This document is also available on my website and includes videos for most stitches:

This pattern is for personal use only. Please do not copy or resell finished product.

Happy Stitching!
Namaste,
Jessica
