Description

This listing is for your CHOICE of ONE (1) vintage charm. There are TWELVE (12) available. When ordering, simply tell me, in the Add a Note box, which number(s) you wish to buy. I'll take care of the rest.

These are all vintage enameled shield charms for various international destinations. They all came off previously owned silver charm bracelets. I have included a dime in the first photo to give you an idea of the size but I will also include actual measurements for each charm below.

Here is a brief description of each charm:

1. Zugspitze 2966M Germany - Germany's highest peak. Hand painted enamel shows Cross on mountain, castle on mountain top, ski lift and slopes. On back it is signed either 800 or 900 and 2B(?). Measures 9/16" by 13/32".

2. Chester, a government district in Cheshire, England. Depicts the historic arms of Chester which is based on the Royal Arms of England. Signed on the back with the typical assay marks of British silver, including the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. Measures 5/8" by 1/2".

3. Copenhagen, Denmark. Hand painted enamel scene showing the Mermaid on a rock in a harbor with a sailboat and wharf in background.
Signed on back "925 SILVER," indicating sterling silver. Measures 11/16" by 7/16".

4. Holland. Enamel design shows a rampant lion on blue field. Signed on back "835 HOU." Measures 5/8" by 7/16".

5. Konigssee - Germany's most beautiful Alpine lake. Hand painted enamel scene shows boat on a lake with town in the background. Signed on back "830." Measures 5/8" by 7/16".

6. Schweiz - Switzerland. Enameling shows the white cross on a red field. Signed on back "800" and has a maker's mark with a large W. Measures 9/16" by 7/16".

7. SOLD...SOLD...SOLD Amsterdam. Enameled coat of arms for Amsterdam, Holland. Signed on back with a dagger. Measures 5/8" by 7/16".

8. Bruxelles - Brussels, Belgium. Enamel decpicts Archangel Michael, the patron saint of Brussels, slaying a black Devil. Signed on back "800" on top of a symbol I can't make out. Measures 5/8" by 7/16" including the top ring.

9. Starnburg, Germany. Enameled coat of arms of Starnburg. Signed on back "800." Measures 9/16" by 7/16" including top ring.

10. SOLD...SOLD...SOLD Hong Kong. Enameled Colonial coat of arms for Hong Kong. This one is not signed on the back, but is non-magnetic silver toned metal. Measures 5/8" by 7/16" including top ring.

11. SOLD...SOLD...SOLD Japan. Enameled Imperial seal of Japan. This one is not signed on the back, but is non-magnetic silver toned metal. Measures 5/8" by 7/16" including top ring.

12. Macau, China. The hand painted enamel depicts an arched entryway. This one is not signed on the back, but is non-magnetic silver toned metal. Measures 5/8" by 7/16" including top ring.

These are all in very good, original used vintage condition. My photos are a big part of my description. Please be sure to view them all so you know what you are considering. I see nothing negative to mention.

Any of these would be a nice addition to a charm bracelet. I have seen whole bracelets with nothing but these souvenir shield charms. They make a great looking bracelet.
