This porcelain tray is part of a set of Tasting Trays in several colors in a delightfully useful form. This one has a pink and orange shooting star. The porcelain rectangular plates are approximately 6.75" by 4.25", and are a little over a quarter of an inch deep. (They fit in the top rack of your dishwasher- such a bonus for a beautiful piece!)

You will love the flexibility of these trays- you can use them when serving hors d'oeuvres, tapas, sushi, or luscious desserts. If you have a set of different colors, your guests can keep track of their own plate.

You can see the other colors here:

A set of these would make a lovely symbolic wedding or anniversary gift, as they are decorated with two intertwining ribbons (peachy pink and orangey coral on this one) and a shooting star (with tiny dots of chartreuse and red in the center).

If you are looking for a memorable wedding favor, you could serve your wedding cake on plates like this and let your guests take them home at the end of the festivities!

Each Tasting Tray is made individually, so, of course, there will be some variation in the decoration.

The last photo shows a different color Tasting Tray with some cake from Sweet Mandy B's in Chicago- YUM!

Porcelain is a very durable material (think of the ancient Chinese porcelains that we see in museums) so this dish will be enjoyed for generations. Since porcelain is so sturdy it can be run through your dishwasher or you may prefer to wash it by hand. It is, of course, food-safe and can be used in the microwave.

Over the years, I have been pleased to earn numerous awards with my porcelain forms. My works are shown at galleries and museums throughout the United States and are included in many public and private collections. I created a large porcelain wall sculpture for the Corning Glass Works Executive Club and pieces from my folded vase series, along with other works, have been exhibited at the Smithsonian's Renwick Gallery.
