Design of this necklace represents all that I love about ethnic jewelry - its bold, colorful, down-to-earth and warrior style. It is inspired by Mongolian and ethnic jewelry and armour, that traditionally is made of ornamented, heavy metal findings, also coral, jade, turquoise adornments - I just wish we would wear these kinds of jewelry more in the modern world!
Of course, during worldwide fever of Game of Thrones this also reminds of Daenerys Targaryen, I believe this is something the Horse tribe people would wear during some shamanic rituals.
In the center of necklace there is a round metal or polymer clay centerpiece - large shield-like bead. Lapis lazuli, green chrysoprase, coral and turquoise cabochons and bronze metallic spikes are composed around it.
Beaded parts are made of metallic and matted czech seed beads, coral beads, metal findings, some vintage glass beads. Fringe and strung part of the necklace will also include some coral beads, sodalite or jade beads, some turquoise accents and vintage metal beads. Matching ethnic style earrings.
Its an oriental style embroidery on thick leather - hand embroidered, with leather backing, metal clasp. Triangle is 9" long (including fringe) and 7"wide, circumferrence on the neck is approxmately 20"
Large ornamented details and rich fringe give the piece such an edgy ethno look, I can easily imagine it worn on the stage.
Shipping for this necklace is free.
