Description

This cute little guy is staying warm with his hand crocheted hat and scarf!
This cute needle felted mouse is handmade from 100% wool fibers. He is built upon a wire armature, which makes him posable. Your mouse will be about 4 1/2 in tall (without the hat on).
He comes with a mini, hand crocheted, hat and scarf, both of which are removable if desired.
I will need about 2-3 weeks to complete your custom made mouse.
( Currently, I have a 2-3 month wait list for all custom orders )

You may choose the color of your mouses hat & scarf. The color options are:
- Wheat (pictured in the photos)
- Red
- Green
- White
- Gray
- Pink
- Yellow
You may also choose the color of your mouses fur. The color options are:
- Gray fur (pictured above)
- White fur

*Please note that your mouse may not be IDENTICAL to the one photographed in the listing. Because these mice are handmade, each one is unique to itself. There may be slight visual differences between your mouse and the one in the listing photos.
However, I put the same love and care into each sculpture I make, and I will ensure that you are 100% happy before anything is shipped home.

- Please acknowledge that this is not a toy but a piece of art. This is not intended for small children! Some parts may pose as a choking hazard!

- International Buyers: If you are not in the USA, please be aware that you may be liable to pay a customs fee/tax to receive a parcel from outside your country. I encourage all international buyers to research this information before making a purchase. Farmhouse felts is not responsible for these fees!

Additional policies

Custom Orders
I also will accept custom orders. If you have an idea for a needle felted sculpture, request a custom order with the shop and we can begin creating your order. Pricing for custom orders will be done so individually, and will depend on the size and detail of the animal/sculpture. Once we agree upon the details of your order, I will give you a time in which it will take me to create your sculpture. Payment is due up front, in full, before I will start creating your order.
If you see something you like in my shop, but want to purchase it at a later time; let me know and I can reserve it for you for up to 2 weeks.

Caring For Your Sculpture
Please be sure to keep your animal sculpture away from household pets, especially dogs and cats. Because these sculptures are made from animal wool, they can attract the attention of your pets quite easily. So it is important to keep your sculpture out of reach to your pet.

Please take care not to excessively bend the legs and body of your sculpture. Even though your sculpture is poseable, excessive or aggressive bending will cause the wire base to break. The wire underneath is aluminum, which can snap if it is excessively bent back and forth. I recommend to put your animal in a desired pose, and then you may change it every so often. Just make sure you are gentle when changing his position.

NEVER put your sculpture in the washing machine or under running water to clean off dust. Water and excessive moisture will ruin the wool, and will cause it to become matted. Instead, I recommend using a microfiber cloth, and gently removing any dust that may have settled onto your sculpture. You may also try using a blow dryer to remove any dust that may have collected.
If some of the fibers become loose from handling, do not pull them out. Instead, trim them back with a pair of scissors.

For Long Furred Animal Sculptures - If your sculpture was made with a long furred coat, you may notice that after handling him a few times he does not look as fluffy as when you first received him. This is something that normally happens, as the fibers can become flattened while you handle him. You can, however, re-fluff his coat. To do this take a large needle (like a sewing needle or something similar) and gently stroke the needle up his back, starting at the bottom and going towards the head. This will loosen the fibers and they will begin to stand up again. Do not use a comb or a brush though! A comb or a brush will cause the fibers to be pulled out and you may end up with bald spots.

If you have any questions about this information, or there is something I have not covered; please feel free to send me a message. Thank You!

Repairing a Damaged Sculpture
If an accident does happen, and you want me to repair it; I will do so for a fee. The cost of repair will depend on how damaged your sculpture is, which we will discuss before hand. You also will be responsible for all shipping costs.

Although these are the basic policies for my shop, I am willing to work with you on an individual basis. If you have certain requests, let me know and we can work together to ensure you are happy with your order.
