Wacky 1960s or 1970s novelty note pad. "Edison Cordless Calculator" "Patent 1902" A big roll of paper fits on a wooden base, with an attached pencil on a string, for jotting down phone messages, or shopping lists. It has a neat recessed slot in the back, for easy wall mounting. Fun old timey mid century "nostalgic" piece. Comes with 3 extra rolls of paper, and a sticker on the back has re-order information, though I seriously doubt the company's still in business! The roll sits on a long bolt, with washers and wing nuts to hold in place, the opening of the roll is a hair under 1/2 in, my thought is that if the hole size of the standard modern paper is different, you could easily change the size of the hardware...
8 inches high, by 6 inches wide.
