A complete issue of the famous French weekly fashion magazine : Le Petit Echo de la Mode

Beautiful illustrations with endearing images on every page! The paper is aged to perfection and it would be ideal for framing or for adding to your stash of ephemera for altered art, card-making, découpage, collage or scrap-booking.

I purchased this magazine in Paris many, (many) years ago. It contains 16 pages full of lovely images and text from France in December, 1923. I love this era – « Look Ma, no waist ! »

This issue has a color illustration on the front cover and images of fashions for women appear throughout the magazine - with lots of sumptuous coats and evening wear. The two central pages shows fashions appropriate for each moment of the day and the back cover includes an additional collection of fashions for children.

Some other highlights of this issue include:
- a commentary on contemporary fashion - dressing for different occasions
- an article on Japan
- a DIY article on decorating glass
- a DIY article on doll-making
- domestic, legal, medical and intimate advice
- dozens of charming advertisements of the period

Please note that there are many other wonderful elements - I've mentioned only select highlights.

The pictures are fabulous !
