Description

This print is approx. 20"×20" with a 1"border on 3 sides and a 1.5"border at the bottom where it is signed withe the title and artists' signature.

I have a deep love of the natural world and find spiritual inspiration by spending time in the woods, at the beach and hiking in the mountains. Wildlife and nature become a part of my expression which flows through me onto the canvas. My dreams & imagination aid me in creating a surreal like lyrical world, one filled with color, joy and a concern for the health of our beautiful earth. My creation or recreation of architecture is simplified. Old barns have a presence, I imagine the history and life that was lived there. Color, texture, and mood are important to my creative process. I am influenced by visual artists like M. Night Shaymalan, Will Barnet and Paul Gauguin.

Exhibitions include the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Noyes Museum, The Philadelphia Artists Alliance, Center for Emerging Visual Artists, American Embassy in Brussels, Belgium, Delaware Center for Contemporary Art, Suzanne Arnold Gallery, PA State Museum, Nexus Gallery and Stuart Levy Gallery. Awards include the Elizabeth Greenshields Grant, the William Emlen Cresson Award and residency at the Margo-Kelb Dune Shack and La Villa Arrigo in Florence, Italy.
