A Pretty little square top hair fork hand carved from Walnut and Ebonised to give it the dark color. The Ebonising process I use is not a Dye or Stain but rather a completely natural chemical reaction that occurs when the Tannin in the wood is exposed to Moisture and Iron. The wood literally changes color and the whole process is completely safe, permanent and NON TOXIC not to mention Fun to do :) The Hair Fork measures about 5 3/4" or 14.5cm long with A working tine length of 12 cm or 4 7/8". I have finished it with Certified Organic Flax Seed Oil and Orange Wax.

***Note*** The Grain, Color and exact size of the actual Hair Fork you will receive may vary slightly from the one pictured. The size will be extremely close, However because they are all individually Hand Carved they do vary slightly.

This hair fork is smooth as silk and glides through my mid-back long, thick, curly hair effortlessly, holding a full updo all day long and no scalp pulls...as a matter of fact, it’s sooooo light and unobtrusive that I sometimes forget I have it in my hair! I love the modern look of the squared-off edges of this particular style and the colour is such that it will go with any outfit, which makes it perfect for an office to evening transition!
