Morning Matcha Socks Pattern | Knitting Pattern PDF | Knit Sock Pattern Downoad

*THIS IS A KNITTING PATTERN ONLY. THIS LISTING IS NOT FOR A COMPLETED PAIR OF SOCKS.*

Steam rising from your warm cup in the morning is one of the most comforting ways to start your day. Well, now a matcha latte is the perfect treat for your feet, as well! Simple knit and purl stitches at the cuff detail of the Morning Matcha Socks create an illusion of cable twists like the ones that run down the leg and foot, mimicking the steam you’ll see billowing from your mug. You can knit these socks in any color yarn, but a soft green pays homage to their namesake.

The pattern is written for the magic loop technique, but you can easily substitute for double-pointed needles if you prefer. They are knit one at a time from the top down and use a short-row/mitered heel and a standard toe, but you can also substitute for your favorite heel and toe with a bit of manipulation.

For this pattern, you should be comfortable knitting in the round. Some skills you may need for this pattern include the long tail cast on, magic loop, Wrap & Turn, and Kitchener Stitch. Recommended tutorials:

• Long tail cast on: https://youtu.be/kn4rcAnnS7U
• Wrap & turn: https://youtu.be/G4GxFvi4KD0
• Kitchener stitch: https://youtu.be/-nlWKvrGp-4
