Description

**This is made for other Etsy sellers with nexus in FLORIDA to help them file the DR15 form - sales and use tax - with the Florida Department of Revenue.**

We must collect sales tax from our buyers and pay that sales tax in to the state's department of revenue each reporting period. It can be a daunting task to figure all this out when you're just starting out so I've collected helpful resources and made a guide with copy & paste-to-a-spreadsheet formulas to get you up and going in a fraction of the time. I even include a link to a 7-minute video of me making the entire spreadsheet for my own shop and getting all necessary data for the DR15 so you can watch and follow along using your own shop data.

If the answer is yes, and you're overwhelmed with what to do next, this guide is for you!

Disclaimers:
This guide is intended to be a helpful tool. You alone are responsible for the accuracy of your business data and tax filings with the Department of Revenue - Calculated Crafts will not be responsible for any errors. This guide may need slight tweaking in some cases if you sell something unusual, or if you’re in a certain industry like food service or anything with different rules, or if you have a very large number of sales. This is a good starting point for helping you understand the general ideas and giving you some formulas to build off, but I cannot promise it’ll cover every case. I've built the guide and the formulas around my own category of business - handmade, physical home decor/goods. Please do your own research to make sure you’re doing what’s required for your own business.

FAQs

Want to have an item shipped directly to another person as a gift?
No problem! Please put the gift recipient's address as the "Ship To" address at checkout and let me know in the "Comments to Seller" section of checkout if you'd like to have a specific gift message included.
For most items (excluding marble trays) I can make any size you want (pricing will be adjusted as necessary to account for more/fewer materials used, extra time taken, etc). Send me a custom request and let's get started!
Brass and H2O don't get along. Do your best to shield your Himmeli from water or dry any water off ASAP. If you're using it to display an air plant, remove the air plant for soaking and let it dry completely before placing it back inside the himmeli.

The brass has been left unsealed, in its natural beauty, but as a result it may patina and age over time due to natural oxidation of the metal, especially in high-humidity areas. Polish using OOO (extra-fine) grade steel wool, (available from home improvement stores), rubbing the brass very gently back and forth until shiny (and make sure to wear gloves to protect your hands!).
The marble has a polished top surface which inherently tightens the pores in the natural stone reducing the possibility of stains, but we have additionally coated it with a non-toxic sealer to protect against dirt and liquid damage. The sealer is food-safe making the tray perfect for use at your next dinner party, but we do not recommend using it as a cutting board or using any sharp utensils on it which could scratch the marble. Be sure to wipe up any spills from dark liquids (wine, dark sauces) immediately for best results. To wash, do not submerge in water, but rather wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry with a clean towel.
