Small Sterling Silver Dish Duhme "K" Monogram

At 3 1/2" (8.9 cm) in diameter, this sterling silver tray is small enough to hold a single candle, a couple of pieces of candy, or your favorite rings. Monogrammed with a "K," it was made by Duhme & Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio.

It may have been an individual butter dish. These markings on the bottom date it to the late 19th century:

I have not cleaned this, but there are light blemishes from previous polishings and a bit of darkened wear on the bottom.

Weight is 1.25 ounces.
