This scarf combines strands of very fine natural yarn. For the vintage white I used 1 linen and 2 cotton in subtly different shades. For the flower pattern I used 2 linen.

The combination of natural fibres makes this scarf feel soft and cool on your skin. It is made from 2 separate layers of knitting which are then hand stitched together

I spent some time on the Shetland Isles off the north coast of Scotland. It’s a bleak and beautiful landscape where for a time Fair Isle was the home of amazingly intricate brightly coloured knitted patterns. Ever since then I have been inspired by those Fairisle patterns. That is where the inspiration for this scarf originated.

Garment dimensions: 20cm/8inches wide and 192cm/76inches long.

This scarf will be knitted just for you and take approximately one week to be shipped.
