This print is a digital image I've created and printed directly on to a vintage dictionary page. We salvage dictionaries slated for destruction and turn them into unique works of art.

SIZE: The dictionary pages are approximately 8.25 inches by 10.75 inches/21.25 centimeters by 27.75 centimeters. The prints fit nicely in 8x10 inch frames or 11x14 inch frames with 8x10 inch mat openings.

FAQ:

Q: Does this print come with a frame and a mat.
A: Just the print, we currently do not offer framing services or mats with our prints. There are so many mat and frame options and combinations its much more practical and affordable for you to pick something from a local store that matches your décor and budget.. Craft stores such as Joann, AC Moore, Hobby Lobby and Michael's, have a nice selection of affordable frames and mats for your art! Other stores such as Ikea, Target and Wal-Mart also carry suitable frames.

Q: What size are the dictionary prints, what size frame should I buy?
A: The dictionary pages are approximately 8.25 inches by 10.75 inches. The prints fit nicely in 8x10 inch frames or 11x14 inch frames with 8x10inch mat openings All other sizes for prints are found in the drop down menu.

Q: I need this print by a certain date. Can you rush this order for me?
A: For US Buyers ONLY I offer USPS Priority Mail upgrades. Select this option at checkout from the drop down menu. This will get the package to you 3 to 4 business days after you order.

Q: When can I expect my order to ship?

Q: Do you offer any coupons or specials?
A: Yes! For Dictionary Prints Only I am currently offering a Buy 3 Get 1 Free Special. Just purchase three prints and in message to seller at checkout let me know which print you want for free. Free print MUST ship with paid prints, if you don’t pick a print and you've met the purchase threshold for receiving a free print, I will randomly select a print for you.

Q. I forgot to tell you in message to seller which print I want for free; can I still get a free print?
A: As long as your order hasn't shipped.

Q: Can you create a custom quote for me?
A: It depends on what you have in mind, the best way to find out if I can do it and how much it will cost is to contact me through the REQUEST CUSTOM ORDER button on Etsy. I’ll respond ASAP and let you know what I can do and the time frame. I will send you a proof once I’m done so please make sure you’ll be available to check your messages. I don’t want to delay shipping your custom print!

Q: Can you change or add additional text to a print?
A: It depends on what you have in mind, some prints can easily be altered, and others will take more time. It’s best to message me what you want and I’ll work with you.

►All orders are shipped via USPS First Class Mail. Domestic First Class shipping typically arrives in 3-7 business days but this can vary due to weather and post office volume. If you’re in a rush, I suggest Priority Mail.

►ALWAYS double check your address because once an order is placed, I try to ship it as quickly as possible, if your address is wrong and I've already sent shipping confirmation, message me right away to see if I've already sent it to the post office.

►I always ship your order as fast as possible, most of the time next business day, sometimes same day depending on the time of day you order. You will receive an email with tracking information when I create your shipping label however the system isn't updated until I drop off your package at the post office and its scanned. This can often take 24 to 48 hours to update. Once the package leaves my hands, I have no control over the actual transit time. I will consider a package "lost" after 3 weeks (for domestic) or 60 days (for international) and will refund or replace.

►If your package is confirmed delivered by the post office tracking but you don’t have it your first course of action should be to contact your local post office to see if your local carrier remembers the package. You can tell them it’s in a large rigid white envelope with DO NOT BEND stickers front and back. 99% of the time they find it within 24 hours. I can’t do this for you, they request this comes from the recipient.

►Please ensure that you have a SAFE location for your print to be delivered to because I have no control over and am not responsible for stolen or damaged. If your package is stolen you’ll have to file a theft form with the USPS.

► International packages can take anywhere from 2 to 12 weeks to arrive. Delivery time depends on the customs practices in your country. Sometimes, a package can get stuck in customs. Please be aware of the customs practices in your country before you purchase.

► please keep in mind that you are responsible for any fees, duty or taxes that may be charged at customs. I have no control over what fees your country might charge, please know the laws in your country regarding buying from the USA. I use postage customs forms that comply with USPS and international law. They are printed directly through the Etsy shipping label system and I cannot make any changes to mark your package as a gift so please do not ask me to break the law. Your package description will be listed as PRINT(S)

► If you have ordered internationally and it seems your package might be delayed, make sure you call your local customs office, as in many countries (e.g., Germany) the recipient will not be notified that their package is stuck in customs, and will have to call themselves about picking it up.

► I make every effort to package your print in a secure rigid envelope and clearly mark it front and back DO NOT BEND. If your package is damaged in shipping, please contact me for your options. Small folds, wrinkles and creases can often be smoothed out or when framed behind glass are not noticeable.

► Please ensure that you use the correct address during checkout, as I will ship to this address. Also make sure you have a secure delivery location. If a package sits outside for a long period of time or in an unsafe location, it could potentially be stolen, damaged by the elements, or opened.

► All shipping costs incurred due to non-acceptance are the responsibility of the buyer. Items returned will be refunded only after they arrive back to me safely and in the same condition they were sent, less all shipping charges.

► Orders that are returned to me due to an incorrect address will not be reshipped until I hear back from you. In this case, you would be responsible for paying the second postage cost. If it’s a rush order, I will ask for a good faith deposit until the other print is returned. Once that print is returned, I will refund good faith deposit.
