Description

Nicely detailed hand carved and hand painted Folk Art wooden mallard duck decoy bookends mounted on an oval wooden base in two halves.

One of the bookends is the front half of the duck, while the other bookend is the back half.

He has realistic brown glass eyes, detailed red and blue feathers on the side, a green head and neck with a white ring and a mustard yellow beak.

These bookends are vintage and have been used. There is shelf wear on the bottoms and some surface marking.

Measures: 14" long from beak to tail (7" each half) x 8" wide x 8" tall.
