Written by Jackie Wang | Curated by Tamryn Spruill

Jackie Wang tweets in a timeless, poetic language all her own. In 140 characters or less, she delivers messages that are both modern and venerable, with ethereal beauty being the common thread that runs between them. Some of her regular topics include libraries, psychoanalysis, dreams, literature, equality, social justice, travel, trauma and prison abolition.

In the Autumn of 2016, Tamryn Spruill contacted Ms. Wang to share her thoughts about her tweets -- sentiments similar to those stated above -- and to gauge her interest in having her tweets curated into book form. Tamryn was prepared for the strange proposition to be rejected. But Ms. Wang replied with a firm, "yes," accompanied by a statement that she had recently dreamed that her "word scraps" had been turned into a book.

"My memory is a constellation of libraries."

If these are "words scraps," what is the feast?
