Description

The Petoskey Stone is rather rare & only found in the northern counties of the lower peninsula of Michigan. It is a six-sided fossil colony coral that is composed of fossilized coral. Its scientific name is Hexagonaria Percarinata. The coral lived in oceans covering the area some 350 million years ago. Natural Petoskey stones are rather plain, but polished you can see all the seperate chambers.

This Petoskey Stone light or fan pull chain 13" long. The stone is about 1 1/4" long x 1 1/4" wide at the bottom x 1/2" wide the other way. Ball chain is silver tone. It has been polished & given a light coat of sealer. You can request a longer chain for $ .50 a foot & you can choose a gold or silver chain.

I will combine shipping & will reimburse any over payment of shipping costs over $ .50. You could get a bunch of rocks in this box! I will ship small flat rate, so it will be $7.15 to continental U.S. Anyone else please contact me for a shipping price.
