Description

Here is a cute little newly carved cutting board featuring a happy maritime lobster. Great for the kitchen or that summertime picnic bbq.

This item is made on solid bamboo wood. It is in the natural state. We do not stain or clearcoat the cutting boards used for food prep.

It measures 13" X 9.25" and it is almost 3/4 inches thick.

Colour: Natural medium-light bamboo / neutral

This board is a bit darker than the other featured "mortar and pestle" board we have listed.

***blue lobster pictured not included in this listing. The picture was taken last summer at our local lobster pound called Chase's Lobster Pound. My uncle used to fish lobster and I do remember seeing blue lobsters but none as blue as this one! ***

Care of wooden cutting boards:

If you wish, you may oil the cutting board with mineral or other food safe oil before using. Take a soft cloth and spread the oil on both sides. Let sit for a half hour or so (I usually forget and it stays all night!) Then take another soft cloth and wipe off. I usually repeat this process every three months or so. With heavy use, you may wish to do this more often to protect the wood.

Do not place in dishwasher. Wash with a soapy cloth, rinse well and dry immediately.
