This 20 inched footed Viking Bluenique swung vase is a real show stopper! Produced in the 1960's in a vibrant turquoise blue and featuring a free form neck and ribbed to draped patterning, this mid century modern piece will be a wonderful addition to a "retro" decor.

The vase is in great shape. There is no chipping, no cracks or flea bites. As mentioned above, it stands an impressive 2o inches tall. It has a footed base and a vertical ribbed design that tapers outward and down to looped "drapes of glass", which also adds an optical affect to help reflect light.

It has a free-form neck area which is highlighted in 2 distint peaks, and a baby of rounded glass extensions that mirror the 3 flaring drapes along the bottom portion of the piece. The base measures 3 inches across. The bottom draping portion of the vase is about 4 to 5 inches across and tapers upward to a 2 inch neck, and then to a softly flaring 3 'peak' opening.

I absolutely adore swung vases! The irregualar openings of these vase create so many options for flower placement! The peaks help to support stems and the irregularities also allow for more stems to be added when compared to a more structured design.

AND the blue??!! It's intense and always a desirable color in collectible glassware.

Unfortunately, due to weight, I can only offer this fab mid century find within the United States.
