Description

Lavender & Chamomile Potpourri-
A very subtle fresh lavender floral scent, not a "little old lady lavender"scent. The Chamomile is warm and both blend together to make a calming potpourri. It is beautiful and brightly colored to look good in plenty of room decors.

HOW MUCH IS IN A BAG?
Depending on the size of the particular botanical's in each blend, our average blends contain:
4-6 cups -Small Bags $9.95
6-8 cups -Large Bags $14.95
***NEW JUMBO SIZE- $39.95 A perfect gift package. Almost 3 times the volume of our large size.

HOW DO WE MAKE THESE?
We wild harvest most of our potpourri from the woods of Northern Michigan, seek out our local gardeners, and pester our out of state relatives for their fields and flowers too.
Then I dehydrate these fresh picks, add herbs, spices and essential oils, then package them off to you. All of our potpourri varieties are made the same season you buy them and packaged the day we ship them. No year long shelf sitters here.

HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?
We use fresh dried botanical's, real fruit, spices and a high grade essential oils, so our scents last much much longer than your average commercial potpourri. Each variety naturally lasts anywhere from 3 months - to a year. Our Lemon cake being the shortest and Pumpkin as one of the longest lasting before it needs a little refresher oil.

HOW DO I REFRESH THE SCENT?
You will go nose blind to the scent before the scent is actually gone. People often comment on my own home smelling wonderful and I don't smell it anymore. But here is a couple tricks to make your potpourri last longer:
*The first thing about potpourri, is that it loses its scent when it is dried out. Many times a simple mist of water or Vodka (yes I did say Vodka) helps to moisten and bring the scent back to life. *Be sure to not soak it or it would mold.
*The second thing to try is to put it back into a plastic bag with a couple of squirts of water or Vodka (There she goes with the Vodka again) then put it away out of the sunlight for 7-10 days.
This will do 2 things. 1 it will refresh your nose to the fragrance and 2 it will re-moisten the potpourri.
*Finally if those don't refresh your potpourri fragrance, you can order a refresher oil from us here on Etsy.
