the hand-drawn design is in a simple little one page pdf for you, nothing fancy-shcmancy. because it is hand-drawn, you have some wiggleroom when it comes to tracing your pattern. have fun and go with it, i say.

this little pattern is dear to me as i designed it especially for my girls...cate, lily, and eme...on the occasion of their 2nd, 7th, and 5th birthdays in october. their birthday party this year is a petting zoo party (again!) with chicks, bunnies, and mini piglets!

you will need Adobe Reader to view the file, and you can download a free version here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/

the design area is approximately 7 by 7 inches. of course, you may enlarge/reduce the girls if you'd like.

be sure that the email in your profile is the one that you would like to have the pattern sent to. i will email it to you within 24 hours, more than likely much sooner.

please feel free to email me with any questions you may have.

this is how i go about transfering designs to fabric:
i use a lightbox and an el cheapo (not a brand, a description!) water soluable pen to transfer the drawing to my fabric. i then stitch the design with 2 strands of floss onto linen. if you don't have a lightbox, a window works well, too...even your car window while sitting waiting to pick up your kindergartener. and those, lovelies, are the only directions that you need!

all rights are reserved, please. i would be tickled to have your hands stitch up my drawing, but kindly refrain from selling any items that you may have used my design on; however, feel free to stitch away for yourself and those you love. it would be rather impolite to disregard this simple request, and i am sure that you will not, as your mother would not be very pleased with you.

i would love to see what fabrics and colors you choose for yours, so please do email me with a photo (or send me a link to your blog/flickr/etc.)! i do have a flickr group where you can share your wip's and finished works (it's sort of quiet there right now). you can find it under handmadecathygaubertembroiderygroup.

thank you ever so much...xxx
